Howard Automotive has been a trusted name since 1996, and over a decade ago, we had the honor of taking the reins from owners Jim and Max. These two were well-known throughout the Kansas City community for their integrity, skill, and unwavering commitment to doing right by every customer who entered their doors. They built something truly special here, and we knew we had some big shoes to fill.
Our goal wasn’t to reinvent Howard Automotive. Instead, it was to expand on the solid foundation that had already been built. We wanted to grow with the community, provide even more support, and make sure that every driver who visited us knew they were getting not just quality service, but genuine care.

We specialize in most makes and models and are ASE-certified, offering services backed by a warranty of up to 2 years or 24,000 miles. But more importantly, we’re known as the car repair shop that doesn’t give up on a car. If others can’t figure it out, chances are we can—and we will.
